No 2 parents could be happier than we are for how sweet and loving these boys are, not just with each other, but with little sister. She gets (sloppy wet) kisses, (sometimes smothering) hugs and (often clumsy) strokes on the cheek from Samuel just about daily. He is the first to let us know if she is crying, and the first to greet her when she comes in the morning to the living room.
Max is, as he is with his little brother, quite protective and informs the other kids at daycare what her name is and tells them that he is very glad to have both of his "babies".
Ella herself is a good girl. She has already gained about 2 pounds since this picture was taken, and is quite the chub. She sleeps well and accepts just about everything she gets from her brothers and parents.
We are enjoying having a little girl. After 4 years of baby blue, cars and Spiderman, we (especially mom) secretly delight in little pink shoes and pink tights with ruffles on the butt.
So, there they are! And for us, 3 is the magic number....

I don't know if there is anything more a parent could ask for their children than that they would get along, respect each other and honestly care for each other. Being an only child myself, as is Morten, we really didn't know what to expect. But it sincerely warms the cockles of my heart to see the way these two are with each other (well, most of the time...). Samuel adores his big brother, and I think Max is beginning to sense that this bald, little rug rat could actually get to be a bit of fun.

Well, we were at our 19 week scanning, and got the probable sex of the next little bun-in-the-oven: And looks like she's got 2 X chromosomes! We're taking all bids on names, so send 'em in!
