Grandma's Birthday Package

A little sneak preview of what I (wish) am sending to grandma/mormor America this year for her birthday:

"It's Just Me!" he says. Happy Birthday Mom!

Cozy January

January has been a cozy month - not so full of "fun-filled" activities as December, and with a bit more time for just being home. Here are a few pics of Samm-O. He's getting bigger, having just turned 2 months. He observes his little family from his box, and is beginning to smile and soon will be laughing. He's also starting to look like, yeah, one of us! See for yourself....

Here's a video of Max, doing something he has always loved to do: Sing. He got a REALLY expensive toy from a McDonalds Happy Meal that plays this REALLY great song, and it has been Max's favorite ever since. The song is a rip-off, re-make of the classic "Hey, Baby" (Heee-yy, Hey, Baby! I wanna know-oh-oh, if you'll be my girl!)
Here's Max's version (Heee-yy, Hey, Baybuloos! I wanna know-oh-oh, if you'll be my chuuz!) Don't ask me... I'm just the camera guy.

And here's a bit of footage of the thing that is making Morten and I MOST happy these days: Max has entered into THE Rite of Passage: the moment where a boy becomes a man, where he recognizes his own masculinity and finds his place beside his father and his father before him: the reading of catalogs on the toilet.

And if you'd like to see a bit more of what we've been up to this month, check out Allison and Theis Brøggers blog - the link is up top. Theis made a great little video of our wonderful weekend at a summerhouse here on the east coast town called Ebeltoft. Our kids played together all weekend, and all that was left for all the moms and dads to do (when we weren't breastfeeding, making dinner or changing diapers) was to act, well, like kids! We played ping-pong, swam, jakuzzied and talked our tails off. There's no better therapy in the world than hanging out with these guys for a weekend!
