Well, we were at our 19 week scanning, and got the probable sex of the next little bun-in-the-oven: And looks like she's got 2 X chromosomes! We're taking all bids on names, so send 'em in!

We're thrilled! (especially mom, who is already planning which My Little Pony and which pair shoes she should have first).

Muppet Baby?

My mom says our youngest, Samuel, looks like Professor Bunson Honeydew from the Muppets. His glasses needed to be a bit rounder, but there is an equal amount of baldness going on....

Dr. Mølgaard.... Paging Dr. Mølgaard

Well, sort of. He ain't done yet, BUT Morten got to pick today where he is going to take his residency (or the Danish facsimilie thereof). And he got one of his Top 5 picks! We get to stay in Aarhus, our little apartment and the normal, routine little life that we currently enjoy (the labrats that we are). And Morten will be working at the Orthopedic Surgical Unit, which means Emergency Room and lots of broken stuff, like Morten likes. The great thing is that he has an option to follow those patients which require neurosurgery afterwards, which is what Morten hopes to get to do when he's done.
The second 6 months, Morten will be at the Renal Unit and all that entails. Don't ask me... all I know is dialysis and high blood pressure. But he tells me that it's a lot more complicated than that... I'm sure it is.
Either way, he is stoked to say the least! You're almost there, babe!

Hallo-WEEEEEEN!

Well, it's as close to Halloween as you're gonna get in Denmark! Tivoli, our local amusement park, hosts an autumn festival, complete with all sorts of spooky things. Max and good buddy, Jasmine, met up last Sunday to join in the party.
Here's Max in his own creation - spider mask!

Here's the two goofballs together. This is pretty much how they are when they get together; silly, silly, silly. They are like two peas in a pod - there's no arguing or disagreeing. Just as an example, the one normally wants to ride in the pink plane, the other in the blue, but the two of them just simultaneously decided to compromise in the yellow, without any parental involvement. How's that for comradeship!

Little witchy and little ghosty.

Spinning out, in the teacups.

"I miss Halloween," Max said when we got home later that night. And when I asked him, "What was the best part of your day?" his answer was "Playing with Jasmine".
Patricia (Jasmine's mom) has already got the two kids arranged for marriage. I can only remind her that's illegal in this country. But if things keep going this way, you never know.....
