Shoulder Ride!

Mommy may be good at making food and putting babies down for naps, but nobody's funner than Dad.

Here's Max at about 6 months getting a ride.

Max at 6 months

Well, we've reached the half way mark! (To the first year, anyway...) We've enjoyed his little giggles and hugs and kisses so much and have decided that he may now stop growing!

He sits up by himself now (also on daddy's shoulders), eats in the highchair and bangs and clangs on everything he can. Here he is in new clothes he got from farmor and farfar when they took their trip to Crete. Figured I better take a picture while it was still white! He also has realized that he has not just two thumbs to suck, but also two big toes. Imagine the luck!

Max has also discovered the Chinese bell we have hanging over the backdoor. When we get him ready to sleep outside he reaches up for it and gives it a good shake. Why buy toys when there are crinkle wrappers to crinkle, table tops to bang and Chinese bells to ring!

Baby Swimming

Here's Max before and after baby swimming. He loved splashing and kicking in the water and promptly fell asleep on the changing room floor afterwards. (Mommy wanted to, too....)

Easter!

Here you can see that Max got a visit from the Easter bunny (sans ears and cottontail). He got a little rattle from farfar.

He also had a visit from a family friend named Astrid (with the pink scarf). Astrid took care of Morten when he was a little tike as well, so she has really enjoyed seeing Morten's little one.
